Finishing the fight will also conclude the Orc Fight on the Beach quest. Regardless of whether or not the legionnaires or you get the finishing blow, you will receive EXP. If you have no ranged then approach very carefully. I would suggest backing up the hill a bit, making a choke point for all of the enemies to go through to get to you, and stalling time for the legionnaires to do damage. During this fight you also have some legionnaires who assist you in the fight. This will force you to fight them, but more importantly give you +Independent trait, and concluding the Guards at the Bridge quest.Īfterwards, follow the path across the bridge along and you'll soon encounter a fight with some orcs and humans, also starting the quest Orc Fight on the Beach. Reload your save now and during the conversations with the guards, refuse their escort. You met a talking shell called Ishmashell. This whole interaction starts, and concludes the quest Shell on the Beach and also unlocks your first achievement! ![]() I would suggest throwing him back and receive a chest with items. Talk with him and you will have to decide whether or not to throw him back or keep him to sell. Waypoint shrines also give you EXP so it's always good to explore a bit.įrom the waypoint shrine head SE along the coastline and eventually you will see a big shell NPC named Ishmashell (x:456, y:72). After a certain point in the game fairly soon, you can freely teleport to these shrines at any point using the button and then changing to the waypoint selections by pressing or. The dungeon is pretty straight forward so I'm not going to walk you through it, the boss battle has 2 ranged adds with him but is still pretty straightforward and nothing special, other than when the boss dies his ghost appears and attempts to stun you.Īfter you exit the dungeon head west to find your first waypoint shrine (Cyseal - Tranquil Beach) and make sure to grab the shovel next to it. It gives good exp with the few battles it has and you can loot some pretty good items. Don't be afraid to use the scroll spells that your character has.Īfterwards I would suggest that you go through the optional tutorial dungeon as it teaches you a lot of the game mechanics. It's a very straight forward battle and early on that it may be difficult number wise. Afterwards head E and up the stairs for a battle with 5 skeletons. Open up the body and read the journal to start the Talking Stones quest. Head N along the beach to find a rain scroll (make sure to hold onto this one until you get to town), and a body (x:478, y:136). Your characters arrive on a beach to start the game. Remember everything in red that you can interact with belongs to someone and can get you into trouble.Īs we go along I will give some map coordinates that you can look at your map to set waypoints and sort of figure out where to go. Going through the walkthrough I will not point out everything you can do, as this walkthrough will be more catered to achievements so feel free to explore and fight at your own leisure in the wilderness, in towns I recommend following the guide so you don't miss out on achievements by interacting with NPCs at the wrong time. If you are going straight Honour mode I'd suggest reading through the Honour Mode page first. Make sure when you start the game you start on Tactician mode, if you're feeling really up for the challenge you can jump straight to Honour mode but again, I'd recommend a run-through on Tactician to know where to go, what to do and how a lot of the game fundamentals work.
